Today is a special day for me. It is my birthday! My parents surprised me with a wonderful birthday gift -a lovely dog named Zak. He has beautiful eyes, and he is all white with black ears and a tail. Zak is very cute but a little noisy. I know we're going to be the best friends.

 Diary 2  Date: June 8^th, 2024  Weather: Cloudy 

It is a sad day. I took Zak to the pet park for some fresh air and playtime. But too bad, Zak was gone! I looked everywhere for him, but he was nowhere to be found. I was so upset, and I had to go back home to make a Lost and Found Poster and put it around the pet park. I hope someone can see him.

Lin Chong （林沖），Li Kui, Song Jiang .. These are popular characters （人物） from the classic novel Outlaws of the Marsh. Every spring Festival, they "come out" of the novel and dance in the street. This is Yingge dance.

Yingge dance is a traditional Chinese folk dance in Guangdong. It is a mix （綜合） of dance, opera and kung fu. It gets ideas from Outlaws of the Marsh and tells stories of good beating evil （邪惡）. People also call it the warrior's （勇士） dance. Dancers wear beautiful clothes and hold short sticks in their hands. While walking and dancing, they hit the sticks together. With the drums and the dancers' cool moves, the dance rocks the streets and everyone wants to dance together.

In Guangdong, young and old and men and women all like the dance. Girl Yingge dance gets ideas from the stories of Mu Guiying （穆桂英） and Hua Mulan. Look at this girl, she became popular online when dancing during Spring Festival. "Yingge dance is very cool," she said. "Practicing the dance is hard work, but we will bring out our best."

Hello, I am Baobao. I am from Class 3. I had an unforgettable experience of visiting the Planting Park with Sara. I am interested in science. So is Sara. We knew a lot of knowledge of planting. We planted the seeds in the pot. Later, some of them sprouted and grew. We took part in the Planting Contest （種植大賽） and won the first prize. I am truly proud of it.

I am Sara from America. I'll never forget my good friends in China. In the third grade, when I first went to this school, Guoguo and I sat next to each other. Later, Maomao told me more about the Dragon Boat Festival. ___________ lingling and I made zongzi together. In Grade 5, we climbed the hill when the autumn wind blew. It was my first time to spend the Double Ninth Festival. I am thankful that they gave me sweet memories.
